Health care is a fun topic for most Americans, and particularly scary for foreigners who are visiting the US. I currently use a direct primary care physician. I originally found this service because I wanted to lessen my dependence on my health insurance and use an independent doctor. This is a service that I believe will grow, and seems to be reminiscent of systems of the past in which people would have consistent relationships with family doctors in their communities. Direct primary care doctors are doctors that are paid with monthly memberships for access to talk with them directly by phone, email, and set up appointments quickly without having to go through the logistics of a large hospital system and insurance processing. For people who may have an entrepreneurial spirit, independent creators, and people who want to have a more personal connection with their medical professionals, it is worth knowing who the direct primary care medical groups are in your city. It is something that I hope grows, especially given the recent migration towards smaller companies.
One of my intentions is to share my artwork with more people I know offline. My imagined artwork is always something I have been super private about, as it expresses what usually goes unverbalized. By imagined artwork, I mean everything that is not drawn from a model, reference image, or view of an existing subject. Essentially everything that I imagine and improvise from my own thoughts. When I show people my imagined artwork, I feel almost as if I am gifting a secret part of my self to share with them, that only a few get to see.
