I have been very *drawn* to falcons lately and decided to draw a Lanner Falcon on my tablet. The Lanner Falcon is a very powerful predatory bird with razor sharp eyesight, and it is featured in a lot of ancient Egyptian artwork.
Here is a followup to last week's post of sketching crows in pencil. Generally, I start with pencil sketches from photos or from life, and then make digital characters or illustrations in digital drawing programs when I make pop art. This time, I'm drawing a crow on my tablet using ProCreate and used the drawing lapse feature to record it. I frequently switch between Photoshop and ProCreate, I'm a little bit more comfortable drawing using the Photoshop brush tool. However, the auto recording feature is something I like about ProCreate. It is easier than when I mount my phone or my tablet over my sketchbook while drawing in pencil and preserves my freedom of space for my hands around the canvas.
